FEED HOCO is making a meaningful difference in Howard County by connecting surplus, nutritious food with neighbors experiencing food insecurity. Since its founding, FEED HOCO has helped recover and redistribute more than 4 million pounds of wholesome food, keeping good food out of landfills while ensuring it reaches families, children, seniors, and individuals who need it most.

Our impact goes beyond hunger relief. By recovering surplus food, FEED HOCO also reduces food waste, conserves the resources used to produce food, and supports a more sustainable local food system. Every pound recovered represents both a meal opportunity for a neighbor and food that is diverted from the waste stream.
